उत्तराखंड के चमोली के पीपलकोटी में THDC के विष्णुगाड-पीपलकोटी हाइड्रो प्रोजेक्ट की निर्माणाधीन टनल में अचानक पानी और मलबा घुसने से बड़ा हादसा हो गया। हादसे के वक्त टनल के अंदर 22 मजदूर मौजूद थे। ताजा जानकारी के मुताबिक 7 मजदूरों की मौत हुई है और 14 घायल हैं। NDRF, SDRF, ITBP, CISF और सेना समेत कई एजेंसियां राहत-बचाव अभियान में जुटी हैं। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भी अधिकारियों से घटना की जानकारी लेकर रेस्क्यू तेज करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
A major tunnel accident has occurred at the THDC Vishnugad-Pipalkoti hydroelectric project in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Water and debris suddenly entered the under-construction tunnel while 22 workers were inside. According to the latest reports, seven workers have died and 14 others were injured. Multiple agencies, including NDRF, SDRF, ITBP, CISF and the Army, are involved in the rescue operation. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed officials to speed up rescue efforts and ensure proper medical treatment for the injured.
